#2 on ROCCO'S LIST OF THINGS HE IS GRATEFUL FOR...BECOMING A NIGHT OWL REVIEWER!

I'm just gonna say it - I'm a cat of many talents!  Blogging the main one...and now I've added reviewer to my list of accomplishments!

Today marks my first official review as a Night Owl reviewer!  and what better book to start with than Traci Hohenstein's second novel, ASYLUM HARBOR!

Score: 5.00 / 5 - Reviewer Top Pick

People who loved Traci Hohenstein’s first novel, BURN OUT, will definitely love the second installment in the Rachel Scott series, ASYLUM HARBOR.
We’re introduced into the action by Amber Knowles, a beautiful high school senior and Florida governor John Knowles’s daughter, who has disappeared during a cruise to the Bahamas without a trace. When Governor Knowles receives the distressing news, he asks for Rachel Scott’s help.  Scott, whose own daughter Mallory went missing five years ago, knows only too well the feeling of losing a daughter and agrees to help. As she works with FBI special agent, Drake Reynolds, Rachel discovers an organized crime ring linked to the cruise line. The last person known to see Amber aboard ship was an incognito DEA agent, who also has vanished. Where is he? And where is Amber? And could any of this be tied to the disappearance of her own daughter?  A thrill ride from beginning to end, ASLYUM HARBOR more than fills the bill for those who are fans of James Patterson or Mary Higgens Clark.  If you like your suspense packed with plenty of action and enough turns to rival an obstacle course, I highly recommend this book.  5 stars.
