So who watched teh People's Choice awards last night? Who wasnt' moved by Sandra Bullock's lovely speech when she accepted her well deserved Humanitarian Award?
And who wasnt a bit surprised to find Kids Need to Read co-founder Nathan Fillion the recepient of the People's Choice Award for best TV Dramatic Actor for the second year in a row????? (and CASTLE for best tv crime drama!)
Read about it here:NATHAN FILLION WINS PEOPLES CHOICE
the writers have done a stellar job this year. At first, when they said they were moving the Castle/Beckett relationship forward, I was leery - after all, it's been done in the past with popular crimefighting couples (Lois and Clark, Moonlighting, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, even Remington Steele) the result being disastrous. However, the writers are managing to keep a good balance between the romance and the mystery - the love scenes aren't overdone or sappy, and the comic timing is better than ever!
Two well deserved awards, methinks!
